Updated Rule on Personally Identifiable Information A new notice from HUD “informs all public housing agencies (PHAs) about their responsibilities for safeguarding personally identifiable information (PII) required by HUD and preventing potential breaches of this sensitive data. HUD is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals’ information stored electronically or in paper form, in accordance with federal privacy laws, guidance, and best practices. HUD expects its third party business partners, including Public Housing Authorities, who collect, use, maintain, or disseminate HUD information to protect the privacy of that information in accordance with applicable law.” Updated Rule on PII

Heartbleed Vulnerability Information

Heartbleed Vulnerability Information You may have seen recent news about an online security flaw called “Heartbleed” that affects an implementation of the widely-used Internet security protocol TLS/SSL. Information exchanged on some websites using TLS/SSL may not have been protected. We would like to notify you that this bug does NOT include Tenmast Software or any of Tenmast’s websites, but may include many other websites that you visit regularly from other vendors. We recommend you change passwords used for the sites you visit regularly as a safety precaution.
