Product Training
Like all software developed for specific purposes, our WinTen² programs
require training for new users to be able to use the full range of their capabilities. Refresher training and new employee training can be important in maintaining your staff's level of proficiency. We can provide this training in various formats, from brief telephone sessions to multi-day on-site visits. We also offer periodic training seminars on our programs and current topics in the public housing industry, such as PIC or TRACS.
On-Site Training
Initial training for your system will be conducted on-site. On-site training is the most comprehensive and effective training method, and it is the best option for a staff that is new to the software. Your staff will learn more effectively through instructor-supervised work on their own computers. On-site training also allows you to use a copy of your agency's own data during training, which will allow your staff to learn using information that is familiar and meaningful to them.
Up to 20 users can attend on-site training classes. If more than 20 operators must be trained on a particular program, we will schedule additional training sessions for that program.
Web-Based Training
This training method allows us to provide hands-on instruction to our clients while eliminating the high cost of travel. Using Web conferencing technology, we can display programs on your computers and visually train users via this Internet connection and the telephone.
Web-based training allows us to schedule several hours of training at your employees' convenience. It is best used for a single student or a small group as a refresher course for previously used software. It is also effective for training multiple staff members on a single new program or program feature.
Regional Training Seminars
We regularly hold two- and three-day training seminars on our software, both in our offices and in other areas of the country. New and prospective clients are welcome to attend seminars held in their areas as well. Seminar registration can be processed by phone or via an online registration form in this site's Client Service Area.
We also periodically hold focused training seminars in our Lexington, KY and Ruston, LA offices. These seminars typically focus on a single industry issue, such as the PIC and TRACS initiatives, or on a new Tenmast product, such as our Applicant List or Custom Report Writer software.
We welcome potential clients as guests at our seminars. For more information on upcoming seminars, please contact us.
