James C. Mauch, Tenmast President

As president of Tenmast Software, James C. Mauch is responsible for the planning and the overall development of the company and its products and services in the public housing industry. James is also an attorney and practiced as a trial lawyer with a large Midwest law firm in the early 1980s. In 1988, James co-founded, and served in various senior management positions with Environmental Audit, Inc. and its successor, VISTA Information Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: VINF).

With VISTA, James designed database information products used by engineers to assess environmental risk and comply with risk assessment requirements of federal and state environmental laws. James also managed teams of software engineers and data quality testing groups responsible for building and maintaining geographic information systems and underwriting software applications for the property and casualty insurance industry. As a lawyer, James is familiar with the ever-changing requirements of federal and state regulatory systems for low income and public housing. As President of Tenmast, James is dedicated to maintaining Tenmast’s leadership position in serving public housing institutions with software and information systems that insure their successful operation and compliance with applicable regulations.

James is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. James also has a law degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School and is a Member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Kentucky Bar Association. In February 1999, James was certified as a Public Housing Manager by NAHRO.

James has been with Tenmast Software for five years. Throughout this time, he and his staff have worked closely with HUD on the PIC development process and Tenmast is one of the primary PIC system testers that HUD relies upon today. James has extensive experience with the 50058 PIC submission process and every year Tenmast helps hundreds of PHA's submit 50058's to PIC successfully.top of page

Mike Denny, HUD Systems Trainer

Mike Denny is a Training and Support Specialist at Tenmast Software. His primary role has been to train clients in the use of the Tenmast Housing Management programs. He has conducted seminars and onsite trainings for Housing Authorities from Vermont and Virginia to Guam and Saipan.

Mike has been providing data management services to Public Housing Authorities with Tenmast Software for six years. He has helped hundreds of Housing Authorities resolve PIC errors and achieve high submission rates with PIC. In addition, he has made numerous “First Aid” visits to Housing Authorities and helped them bring their submission rate up to 100%. Mike and the Tenmast team work closely with HUD on the PIC development process. Tenmast is one of the primary PIC system testers that HUD relies upon today. Mike has extensive experience with the 50058 PIC submission process and every year helps Housing Authorities all over the country submit 50058's to PIC successfully.

Mike spent the early 1980s in the United States Navy as a Radar Systems Specialist. His primary expertise was in the implementation of Tactical Data Systems, which allowed ships, aircraft, and shore facilities to share tactical data over one of the earliest wireless networks.

Mike is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and a minor in Philosophy.top of page
